DocOnCall is a revolutionary mobile application that allows you to consult qualified general practitioners in Sri Lanka in less than a minute.
Patients can talk to the qualified doctors in Sri Lanka, obtain prescriptions for any primary healthcare need (If you can’t diagnose over the app, the doctor will direct you to relevant medical care) and obtain medical certificates.
Primary healthcare is the process of managing common chronic illnesses, and also treat acute disorders such as flu, fever, abdominal pain, conjunctivitis, ear infection, strep throat, sore throat, tonsillitis, whooping cough, and urinary tract infections and ensure continuous, comprehensive health care to the entire family irrespective of age, gender, and medical problems.
In order to reset the password, you can simply click on ‘Reset Password’, you will then be required to enter your valid Sri Lankan telephone number to which the reset page link will be texted. After following the link, you can enter your email address and new password.
In the case of an unsuccessful consultation or issues with our service, you are entitled to a refund. In your request please be sure to include the doctor name and the date & time of the consultation. Kindly request for a refund within 48 hours, by calling our Help Desk through +9411 2 166 400, available every day between 6 am to 11 pm. You can also send us the refund request through email on info@doconcall.lk. Your money will be remitted back to your account within 3 working days.

The doctors displayed on the Home screen of the application are the doctors who are available for consultations. Additionally, the doctor’s monthly schedule can be accessed from the “View” option located below the doctor’s profile.
No, we have a range of doctors available who are fluent in English, Sinhala, and Tamil. Hence consultations can be conducted in any of the three languages.
Yes, all our doctors are licensed general practitioners in Sri Lanka and will send you a signed and stamped prescription via the app and to your registered email if you require one. Received prescriptions will be saved in the “Documents” tab in the app and are downloadable at any time.
Yes. Your family members less than 18 years or senior citizens can be registered under your profile as a family member. No need of a new phone number and email. Payments should be settled by you.
Yes. We will send an e-receipt to your registered email address, which is accepted by most of the insurance providers.
Yes. Both doctors and patients can be consulted from home, office or anywhere in the world after the registration.
For now, we allowed only Sri Lankan (+94) phone numbers to register.
We charged 560 LKR per consultation. A single payment allows you to consult the same doctor for free at any times for 30 mins.
The charges are fixed regardless of the time and date of the consultation. Currently, consultations can be made with an available doctor from 6 am to 11 pm every day.
In such a situation, patients can attempt another consultation with the doctor within 30 mins for no extra cost. The patient can also make a VOIP call directly to the doctor. However, normal cellular call charges will be applied in accordance with the mobile service provider. Upon completion of the call, the doctor can still send the prescription.
To ensure your privacy all the conversations are encrypted. Also, any third party does not have access to the completed consultations records nor are there any facilities on the app that allows recording.
No. You cannot download or register with the DocOnCall application using WIFI devices as many of the features of the application will not function.
